Bellevue Botanical Garden

Bellevue Botanical Garden consists of 53 acres of woodlands, cultivated gardens, and wetlands. My sister arrived at just the right time to see rhododendron in all their glory. Some of the rhododendron are more like trees than shrubs. The colors are amazing, some very subtle and some very vivid. Click on any image for a larger size - and more color.

We named this the mastodon tree.
The drooping and then upturned branches look like tusks.
