Our Lives - And No One Foresaw

The “happily ever after” we read in fairy tales, and perhaps envision for ourselves when we are young, rarely matches the "happily ever after" we create as our lives unfold. 

These authors expressed it well when they said - “'They lived happily ever after.' The best stories do not end like that. They end with an implied conjunction: then... next... and thus ... no one foresaw ... As adults we all know our lives are not neat and tidy, but full of continuing irony, sadness, ambiguity, mystery, and most of all - change.”  James E. Lancaster Jr. & Richard B. Lancaster  

We can say “amen” to that! Let us learn and rejoice as we journey through our lives on earth - preparing for the real "happily ever after," eternal life with Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ.
