Hope, Beauty, Patience - Seasons

I like the vibrant colors of cyclamen blossoms. When this plant finished blooming, I cut back all the leaves and put the pot in a window. Every once in a while I watered it.

It looked pretty bleak and hopeless for a long time. Then the leaves started sprouting - and eventually a beautiful red flower - then a second flower. After I took this picture, a third blossom appeared.

When I look at this plant and its vibrant flowers, I am reminded that our lives go through phases. I see hope and beauty and am reminded that we sometimes have to be patient.

"To every thing there is a season"
