"Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: ... And they continued steadfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers."
I like all the action here - received, baptized, continued, broke bread, prayed, fellowshipped. I also like the adverbs - gladly received and continued steadfastly.
These people were not passive in their discipleship. These people acted on the doctrine they had been taught.
