Unexpected Turn of Events

“Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. Be not wise in thine own eyes…”
Proverbs 3: 5-7

Life does not always turn out the way we thought it would - unexpected events happen, detours sometimes become the main road. Sometimes we feel very lost wondering how we ever will be able to move on. Sometimes we become so focused on the problems we forget to use our God given tools. We must always remember the solution - our navigational tool - we must remember to hang on tightly and follow the "iron rod" of the Gospel - and like a radar beam the Holy Ghost will guide us through the fog, swamp and unexpected events. The "iron rod" of the Gospel is not an emergency tool - it is a 24 hour of the day navigational tool. The more we use it, the more clear the communication and directional beam from the lighthouse - Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. The essential step is to trust in the Lord.
