Easter is a special time of year. Christ’s resurrection is great cause for celebration and has eternal consequences for each of us.
We’ve come to the realization that Easter is even more important than Christmas. At Christmas we celebrate the birth of Jesus. Millions of babies have been born, including each one of us. Jesus’ birth was different because of who sent Him here to earth and the mission He was here to perform. Jesus lived a perfect life and then was willing to die on the cross and conquer death. Jesus did this so each of us could come live with Him and Heavenly Father again. His life after death is a rebirth that each one of us will experience. It is hard to understand how all this happened, but it did happen. Jesus did it because He loves us.
We know -
Jesus Christ is real.
He did die.
He did come back to life.
He lives today.
All of us will be resurrected some day.
All of us will live again and can be with Jesus and Heavenly Father.
Here’s what we did to find this out for ourselves:
Thought about it.
Prayed about it and asked Heavenly Father if it was true.
Read and studied the scriptures.
Went to church, learned the doctrine, and applied it in our lives.
Listened to the Spirit testify to us of Christ.
