Evenings at Juanita Bay Park

Part of this park used to be under water. Lake Washington was lowered by 9 feet when the Montlake Cut was dug. A 9 hole golf course was built on the land. One account we read indicated the owner had difficulty keeping the links from reverting to wetlands.
I don't know if these plants are mosses, liverworts, lichens, epiphytes ... or whatever. A huge variety of tiny, moss-like plants cover many surfaces all over the Pacific Northwest.
Red wing blackbird
I think this is a coot
You recognize the robin
These might be cormorants
Is this skunk cabbage?
Juanita Bay Park is full of beauty.
