Christmas memories
See the sleigh bells on the left ? - It was always difficult to get to sleep on Christmas Eve. Dad reminded us that Santa couldn't come until we were asleep, so we scurried into bed. Sometimes we heard the sleigh bells ring and we KNEW that Santa had come down our chimney. One Christmas I got to be Santa's helper. I stayed up after the younger children were in bed. We stuffed the stockings and put Santa gifts put under the tree, Dad told me I could jingle the sleigh bells. Special moment.
