"Chihuly Garden and Glass provides a look at the inspiration and influences that inform the career of artist Dale Chihuly. Located at Seattle Center, Chihuly Garden and Glass includes an Exhibition Hall, the centerpiece Glasshouse and a lush Garden. The Exhibition Hall contains eight galleries and three Drawing Walls, offering visitors a comprehensive look at Chihuly’s significant series of work; the Glasshouse presents a suspended 1,400-piece, 100-foot-long sculpture; and the Garden is a backdrop for four monumental sculptures and other installations." The sculptures in this museum are amazing. It was quite an experience for the senses. I know I've included too many pictures for a post but I want to share the colors, shapes, and combinations. Click on any image for a larger view, including a picture "tray" that lets you click through all the pictures.
The museum and garden are next door to the Space Needle

An Ohio friend was visiting us. We decided that the Chihuly pieces at Franklin Park Conservatory in Columbus are every bit as wonderful as what we saw here in Chihuly's back yard.
Franklin Park Conservatory has pieces very similar to these
