Perceptions

“We don’t see things as they are, but as we are.”*

My siblings and I often have different versions of a childhood event. In our Bahamas history project we are fascinated by different twists on the same happening.

It's all about the individual and what's going on in his or her life (and head and heart) at the time of the event. That makes all the difference in how the story is remembered and told.
