Scrapbooks

In the upper left corner Joe typed "ATTN: MAUDIE PEPPER SAYS:"  We think Joe probably sent this to his mother in the mid1950s when he was in the Navy. 

Maudie was Joe's nickname for his mother.* We came across the card when we were going through Joe's scrapbooks from high school, college, the Navy, and then more college. Joe says his mother assembled the scrapbooks; he doesn't remember doing any of them. The saying reflects the organizational style of the scrapbooks. They certainly are not chronological.
