Late Afternoon Stroll

Blue skies & sun - good time for a stroll in the park. Lots of other people had the same idea. We went to Juanita Beach Park which is on Lake Washington. People were on the swings, playing on the beach, strolling along the board/cement walk, walking dogs - it was a glorious day to be outside. The temperatures were in the low 50s - warm enough for bunches of people to don their shorts! A boater was out on the lake.

This was Joe's first nonmedical outing since his cataract surgery earlier in the week.
The fresh air and walking were good for both of us.
The crane is in an area with many apartments and small restaurants. This building has been going up for almost a year. We haven't figured out why construction projects seem to take much longer here than in Ohio. If we ever decided to move, we'd seriously consider living in this area - just a few miles north of where we are now.

On our way home, we smiled when we saw The Cow and The Coyote were ready for Valentine's Day. Gelato from Sirena was a nice way to end our wonderful afternoon.
This is a beautiful community.
