Blooming & Adversity

“The flower that blooms in adversity is the rarest and most beautiful of all”
Mulan, Walt Disney Company

This tiny purple flower managed to bloom in the corner of a 3 foot high concrete wall. I am glad I noticed it and was reminded that we can bring brightness and beauty to what might seem like a very bleak situation.

  1. I love how this post is similar to some of my recent and consuming thoughts. I wrote some personal things about the difference between a weed and a flower last week, and how labels are not always fitting. Some may see this purple plant as a weed, but I love how you stopped to appreciate its beauty and value. Thank you for sharing and for being an amazing example.
