Thanksgiving

 WITH THANKSGIVING

"I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly." John 10:10 

We are thankful for Christ and the abundant life He made possible. We are thankful for family and friends who are the major part of our abundance. 

When we had holiday meals at Grandpa and Grandma's we often sang grace. 

Father, we thank thee for the food we eat.

We thank thee for fellowship sweet.

We thank thee for memories here that cling.

We thank thee Lord for every thing.
Amen

11/17 This is what our Thanksgiving looked like for years - except the children got bigger and Mom usually took a better picture. I love the look on Grandpa's face. Perhaps he's saying his own quiet prayer of gratitude before we sing grace.
