Keep Calm And Carry On

Chaos and stress seem to be part of our lives on earth.  Sometimes that chaos comes from an abundance of good things in our lives. Sometimes the stress is a result of health, financial, employment, personal relationship, or other challenges. Sometimes it's due to choices others have made and the impact that has on our lives. There are endless sources of chaos and stress.

"Keep calm and carry on" was one of three slogans printed on posters to encourage British citizens who were in the thick of war with Germany.

How do we keep calm in the midst of chaos?
-Keep calm and carry on.
-Onward and upward
(one of Bill Holton's favorite sayings)
-Make Christ and His gospel a major part of our lives

"Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid." John 14:27

"... for I will go before your face. I will be on your right hand and on your left, and my Spirit shall be in your hearts, and mine angels round about you, to bear you up."  Doctrine & Covenants 84:88

"Wherefore, ye must press forward with a steadfastness in Christ, having a perfect brightness of hope, and a love of God and of all men. Wherefore, if ye shall press forward, feasting upon the word of Christ, and endure to the end, behold, thus saith the Father: Ye shall have eternal life."  2Nephi 31:20

"These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world." John 16:33

When we allow Christ to help us through each day, especially those challenging days, we can feel a peace and calm that can protect us from being pulled down by the stress and chaos.
