Utah - Park City Museum

Territorial Jail
After the mines closed, Park City turned to skiing. In 1964 this mining car & tunnel were used to transport skiers to the slopes. More here

Utah - Hogle Zoo




Granddaughter & I spent the day at Salt Lake City’s Hogle Zoo


 we rode the train
Have you ever noticed the different ways stripes are arranged on a zebra?
Black & white alternating circles on the legs
vertical on the sides
unique pattern on the face & ears
gorillas are resting in the log structure
meerkat & warthog sculpture
The mother elephant stepped on a log to reach food that she shared with her baby
 sculptures created from ocean trash collected on beaches
